Bouncing Net
Do you miss feeling like a kid? Take trampoline bouncing to the next level with the Changi Airport’s Manulife Sky Nets Bouncing. Try to leap for the heavens by bouncing on this eight-meter-high trampoline and feel like a kid again. Don’t worry. Nobody is going to judge you. Anyone 3 years old or older and fits the height requirement of 110 cm is allowed to experience this ginormous trampoline in the sky.
Butterfly Garden
Changi Airport’s Butterfly Garden is one of the most visited and well-known attractions. The garden is covered in hundreds of flowers and lush greenery. It also has a six-meter high waterfall and over 1000 tropical butterflies in the garden, making it an ethereal and Instagrammable experience like no other.
Cactus Garden
Another famous attraction is its rooftop Cactus Garden, home to over 100 different cacti species and arid plants taken from Asia, Africa, and America. You can bask in the sun and soak in the scenery, all the while enjoying a refreshing drink from the bar.
Canopy Bridge
Ever wanted to experience walking through the clouds? Changi Airport’s Canopy Bridge allows you to do just that. The bridge floats 23 meters above the ground and is surrounded by fog that creates walking through clouds. You even get to see what’s under you because the floors are made of glass—no need to worry because this bridge is sturdy.
Discovery Slides
An interactive artwork, playground, and viewing deck, all in one. If you’re looking to have some fun, the Discovery Slides allows you to climb and slide down through magnificent works of art. Again, this attraction is for all ages. So whether you’re young or young at heart, you should check this out.
Hedge Maze and Mirror Maze
Do you want to feel like Alice in Wonderland? Take a stroll through Singapore’s largest hedge maze or get lost in their mirror maze. Just make sure you’ve got your phone with you in case you actually get lost and need someone to save you.
Rain Vortex
The Rain Vortex is the home of the largest indoor waterfall in the world. It is 40 meters high and is located right at the center of the Jewel Changi Airport. If you happen to catch it at night, experience the waterfall as it shifts into a magical light-and-sound show.
The Slide at T3
If the Discovery Slides weren’t enough for you, visit The Slide @ T3. This is known as Singapore’s tallest slide and the world’s tallest slide inside an airport. It will take you from the first level all the way to Basement 3. So if you’re in a rush to get to Basement 3, The Slide is the fastest way to get there.
Water Lily Garden
Get to see one of the largest aquatic plants globally, the Amazon Water Lily, at the Changi Airport’s Water Lily Garden. Aside from water lilies, this garden includes the Sacred Lotus, a plant that has been cultivated in East Asia for more than 3,000 years, the Screw Pine, and the Weeping Tea Tree.
Rooftop Pool and Jacuzzi
If you really want to relax, what better way to wind down from a stressful and hectic trip than to take a dip in a rooftop pool or jacuzzi?
Singapore is great, but the Changi Airport is a destination all on its own, a mixture of great architectural design, nature, art, and magic. So whether you’re staying in Singapore or just having a layover, if you get the chance to visit Changi Airport, make sure to visit these attractions. There is no other airport like it in the world. You definitely don’t want to miss out on an opportunity like this.
